In May 2021, Sankyo Seisakusho Co. celebrated its 70th anniversary. However the year 1973 was the key year in terms of the company’s development.

Company founder Ryohei Ogawa had set himself the goal of developing his own products and becoming an independent manufacturer. He succeeded in developing and launching Japan’s first indexing drive, which was based on a camshaft mechanism.

Since then, we have developed many new products on this basis, characterised by high precision, high speed and high efficiency.

Sankyo Shizuoka Seisakusho Co. currently has four plants in its home market of Japan and independently covers all areas from research and development to production. Additional production facilities have been established in the United States, China, South Korea and Vietnam since 1987.

Since our foundation, we have always focussed intensively on a customer-oriented approach.
In the future, we will promote technological innovation even more than before and offer advanced automation systems and complete solutions.
